Amazing camp spot if it's just you and a couple of friends. Beautiful bush, gold history of the area is amazing. Bush relics if you can find them, worth exploring. Couple if makeshift huts to stay at, or just tent/swag it outside. There a small creek you can try some gold panning, fishing if you don't mind walking a distance along the banks and putting up with blackberry bushes and dense undergrowth. The atmosphere is wonderful.

Nice area at the base of the valley. Not suitable for 2WD vehicles. Plenty of space to camp. Apparently the hut is haunted.
