Campsites

With a stunning mountain backdrop and flocks of galahs and Australian ringneck parrots to keep you company, this quiet campground has a lot going for it. As much a slice of suburbia as a campground, around 50% of camp residents appear to live here permanently, in an assortment of shacks, cabins, on-site vans and even buses. This means there is a strong sense of community, with very little hustle and bustle of campers arriving or leaving. We arrived early evening and after a quick phone call were met by Trish and her canine sidekick Molly on their golf buggy. Despite a shortage of powered sites, Trish obligingly ran an extension cord to our campervan, charging us $12/adult/night and $2 for power. The campground features a very well maintained toilet & shower block, along with a laundry (w/book exchange) charging $4-5 for a wash.
