While so many free campgrounds are overused, abused or simply poorly maintained this campground is the real deal, and to top it off it has a lovely bush outlook. Whilst "free" - a donation is requested and expected, and I suggest that $5 is the minimum for this excellently maintained site which is a credit to the Community group. The donation can be made by internet banking with instructions on the inside wall of the toilet, or at the local cafe. Apparently you can stay for up to 3 nights if you wish. Toilet and shower facilities are clean and in good order. There is a dump point available next to the amenities block. Oh and while in town why not support the local community further by dropping into Syvier's Coffee House and grab a coffee or snack.
