I stayed here for the June long weekend. Found a really great spot further along the lake a small drive away from the more commercial Recreation park. Had to get to the spot with a 4WD. I stayed here by the lake, for 3 days, it was free. I loved it would defiantly go back. Didn’t have enough firewood on me but thankfully there was plenty around, hadn’t anticipated how cold it would get. Also there is trout fishing in the lake, canoeing and kayaking. Didn’t get around to any fishing this time but definitely next time.
