Feb 24. We happened to jag the best site under a coolabah tree in the ‘egrets nest’ sites. Soft sand under foot, nice shade, protected from the wind by the dune. Looked like the egrets nest was the only lot that had any shade or wind protection. Everything else is pretty exposed. The beach has a natural reef providing a barrier between swimming and large toothy creatures but the water was murky and cold while we were there due to the upwelling so not nice swimming for us. New flush toilet and cold water shower but it’s tank water dependent so may not always have water.
