This site is absolutely wonderful. My partner and I have been to many Holiday parks, and each has something good and something to improve upon. I think that this site is one of the best we’ve been to and I can’t think of a single thing that they could improve. My group consisted of 15 people across 3 sites and a cabin and the quality and spaciousness of the site was perfect for us. During non-fire season times, they have fire pits across the sites and we thought that was fantastic! We got to stay out and enjoy a fire, something that can’t necessarily be done at many Holiday parks these days. The staff are brilliant, friendly and warm and accommodated for us so many times and helped me facilitate my large group perfectly, from allowing addition space due to soggy grounds, to allowing a late checkout at a great price. Ice and firewood available at the office along with essentials, the bathroom and toilet facilities are immaculately clean without a single bug including clean shower curtains to stop splash, and ensuite cabin was nice and clean with good cooking equipment availability and a cute little fridge for perishables, and the grounds themselves are beautifully taken care of with onsite picnic seating everywhere with electing BBQ’s. The wildlife is so fun, there are possums, adorable duck families, and beautiful friendly rainbow lorikeets. The bush-walks around the site and around Wangi are so peaceful and the views of the lake are breathtaking, the little town has everything from an IGA + liquor, rsl, pub/hotel that was absolutely popping off, pizza place that was fantastic, and a variety of shops and services. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to return shortly with our friends and family again to enjoy a longer stay.
