Pretty amazing hike it’s one I do 6/8 times a year it was challenging the first time I did it (the corker trail) the steepest part was at the beginning of the track and then you just got to put your head down and move your legs then before you know it you are at wombat creek there is a toilet there it is generally maintained by kind hikers but bring tp just in case there are campsites down near the river but it is extremely wet and there are leaches so I would recommend to camp near the toilet there’s a bit of flat ground and a few rocks for a fire and an amazing view of the stars and in the morning I would walk up to the lookout for the sunrise because it is breathtaking. I have also came up the other direction ( the link trail) it is double the length but it isn’t as steep but my preference is the corker trail
