I’ve been camping here for the past 50 years, great spot can get busy during Christmas and new year The last flood did damage the toilet sheds This campsite is no longer serviced by crookwell council, all bins have been removed Sadly on my last visit in April noticed some irresponsible campers left several bags of rubbish behind, one fool ever put a bag of rubbish in the men’s toilet Unbelievable. !!!!!!

Nice and scenic, can't hear the road nearby, river deap enough for swimming in. Council bins were overflowing and toilet was out of service. Plenty of bats roosting just around the corner from the camp area.

Lovely stretch of river but unfortunately flooding has impacted the camping area - toilets out of action, weeds flourishing and big piles of logs in some parts. But a few great camping sites remain if you bring your own toilet and camp right down on the sandy inside bend of the river under the remaining trees. Some of these spots are 2wd access but do a walk through first as some are better suited to 4wd due to patches of loose sand. Half to two thirds occupied mid week early January.

Decent little free campsite, with a river flowing nearby for swimming when it's warm. I was here in winter, and it was very clean with the place to ourselves. Nice scenery with some wildlife nearby. There are toilets, but I didn't try to use them so can't comment. Be warned - the ground is a bit rocky and uneven, so putting in tent pegs is a challenge.

Question:

Does this site have toilets ?

Answer:

Yes, a long-drop by Richard M.

Answer:

Thanks mate, it has been taken out of service and is very over grown just as we were pulling in to the grounds quite a large brown snake was coming out of the grass from the toilets so we decided to stay away from that area. Trunkey creek show ground had nice clean amenities showers & toilets so we headed in there by Reid j.
