This is the place to stay if you want to get inspired about overnight walk-in camping and multiday hike options (personal goal for 2019!). The most accessible campsite in the wild and gorgeous Mitchell River National Park, my partner and I stayed here for one night. There were only a few spots for camping, but we noticed a few groups used this location as the jumping off are for a two day hike through the park. A short (but steep) walk will bring you to a gorgeous lookout and apparently if you walk in the opposite direction, you can get down to the river to take a dip. Super cute setup with lots of seating around firecircles, picnic tables and the toilet seems to be brand new.
