We have camped here the last 2x Easter long weekends, it's very quiet with a few day trippers. There were many more people this year (2022) than last. We camped on the dam banks as it's much lower than the waterline suggests it can be and there was no rain forecast. It was muddy but there were great spots to camp, if you have a 4wd you can keep going past the dam and camp up near a beautiful creek bed. BYO everything, some concrete tables and BBQs but some are overgrown. Others (not us!) caught a bunch of redfin from kayaks and there was evidence of yabbies (though again, we didn't have much luck!).
