Stayed here over Easter weekend. Was one of the worse experiences. They rammed in so many people on the grass that they must have been over their limit. They put 17 power sockets in one unit in one place, real health and safety issue. Not to mention it kept powering out and was told we just had to wait until it came on again. Some older families were relaying on AC and couldn’t use it in the heat of the day. We booked for our family to be together and ended up being scattered all over the park. Also witnessed older lady owner shouting at a young child who parked bike on the concrete (neatly and out the way). There were no signs saying she couldn’t but the way she spoke to her was completely out of order. If it was my child I would not have been happy. Other camping starting Quadbikes up at 5-6am and driving around the site. Completely ruined Easter for us…. ended up leaving early. Shame they got greedy! Give you money to the National park and stay on the beach so much nicer and doesn’t go into their pockets!
Awesome spot, heaps of activities run by the park or heaps of room to get away from the crowd if that’s more your thing. Communal fire pit, no individual fires. Short walk to beach and access to the creek to put your boat in
Great place for the family
