follow the long track down to the water. fairly open area, not huge, access to the tidal river next to the research station. the bloke who runs the research center is a classic - Doug. he set up the site years ago and records every visitor - where you came from, how you found the site, where you're heading to. incredible wealth of knowledge. seems to be a popular overnight spot heading elsewhere. enormous props for the sensor light at the toilets!
