The most aweful drive up to office. To be told People drive up too fast! Greeted by beautiful dog, but the person on the office Cold . $25 a night for another 1.5k of worse road than I had already transversed down. The place has a for sale signup front ! I don’t know why??

Hi Eva, Hassie here I am the owner of Coodlie Park Farm Retreat. I appreciate the opportunity to respond to your review. It seemed the highlight was our dog, yes she is pretty special and we are pretty paranoid about her at the moment as our last dog was stolen by some one stopping in the camp group (March 2020). It is a pity that you didn't go the extra distance to see and stay in the camp ground, you might have had a different perspective of our property. You are correct about the road into our property we maintain this and we have been smashed over summer and as we haven't had rain here yet (it actually rained yesterday for the 1st time which is great) and it is not possible to repair the road until it rains as we need water to hold the road together after grading. BUT you are correct it is rough. We did however have the Ulysses Motorcycle Club came and stop with us last weekend and they had 12 motor bikes they just travelled over the track slowly. You are also correct, the property is for sale as we own a touring business and this keeps me away from the property for 3-4 days each week and it makes it hard for Jo to manage the property - especially when she has a severe head cold (and the sign was on the door said to that affect that Jo was unwell) BUT being owner operators, it is just not that simple to just close the doors. So Jo battled on until I arrived home and then she could rest. Eva, we don't normally get complaints and if someone is not happy with our property I arrange an immediate refund - no question. BUT in this case you didn't stop, it was the road, the reception and the for sale sign and your assumption of "I wonder why" the property is for sale! We love where we live and we try our best to help showcase the destination and give people thoughts and ideas of things to do in the immediate area and on the Eyre Peninsula. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your touring around the Eyre Peninsula.
