Lovely campsite, plenty of wildlife around and plenty of hikes. It’s 25/30mins from Jawbone Carpark, and then a further hour or so to north jawbone peak. For avid hikers you can do the full cathedral trek with sugarloaf peak. In terms of wildlife, there’s plenty going on. There’s heaps of bird life, including; kookaburras, bowerbirds, sacred kingfishers, fairywrens, treecrawlers, rosellas, cockatoos, lyrebirds, turnbills and much more! You’ll see plenty of possums, kangaroos and wallabies too!
