There is also a free camp in town that is not listed here . Duncan park . It can be found by the dog park . Think it was once the old school site but no buildings left . There is a tidy oval that is no longer used . It’s a great stop over for a few days . About 15 minutes to Burra and Clare . Although the road is near , it’s very quiet at night. Lovely clean toilets , level gravel sites , water with hose supplied . Great playground , room to kick a ball and ride bikes . Although no showers or hot water not a problem if self contained . Plenty room to pitch a tent . Sheltered BBQ in playground . Main Street has interesting history display and neat kept gardens . Find the elephant on the painted silos . Donation box is provided. Well worth the stop.
