We visited Flanagan Reserve for the first time in about 6 years over the recent long weekend… and we won’t be going back in a hurry. Unfortunately the reserve has turned into a dirt patch, with very limited grassy areas to enjoy. The long weekend felt as though the grounds were overcrowded and campers were on top of each other. One amenities block - which is not enough for the volume of people that the site can accomodate. There were port-a-loos on site for the long weekend, but these quickly filled up and had to be closed for guests to use, leaving long lines at the amenities. The creek is still beautiful and is definitely a draw card! Great little swimming holes and a place to sit and relax on the rocks.
