Great locations available along the river. We went over the October long weekend, got there Sat lunch and still good spots available. River was low but that made it easy with the young ones. Plenty of firewood around, but watch out for the stinging nettles. Drop toilet and bins available. Amazingly cool down by the river compared to even 50m up the hill, so perfect for warm stretches. 2wd accessible, just need to pick you entry point as there's 4 different entrance trails.
