Great scout run campground close to Brisbane. Some airplane noise but didn’t continue too late. Caretaker was friendly and check in was pretty easy. It ended up being $80 for 2 nights for 2 people. When I arrived on the Friday afternoon there was a bit of rubbish around so definitely bring a garbage bag or two for that initial set up. Toilets and showers are basic but the hot water’s reliable and the pressure’s better than most holiday parks. Take it easy on the drive in, there’s a few pretty big bumps in the road but nothing a normal car can’t handle at slow speed. Heaps of wildlife while we were there from monitor lizards, kookaburra’s, wallabies and bush turkeys. The bird life is amazing, such a nice way to wake up in the morning. Make sure you book Chatsworth campground (not Garden). Chatsworth has heaps more space and is closer to the amenities block.
