Unfortunately the Lake as with many in Victoria this season is suffering from blue-green algae. The Lake is down and has shown the foreshore to be littered with bottles, glass, tires and steel post, so even if full could be a hazard for swimmers and boaters. The amenities are basic but clean and include showers ( 2 toilets and 2 showers) in both male and female plus one disabled/ family style toilet and shower. Showers are solar heated so not really warm on the overcast days and would run out when busy. A few fire pits a shelter but no bbqs and the stairs leading down to the foreshore need some TLC. Cost is $10 per person per night. Our 3 night stay was pleasant with only a few other campers. With a bit of maintenance and upgrading this would be a gem of a place.
