Very far off rhe A1 and very remote. I drove back out because I didn't feel safe

Great campsite! Very lovely, right by the river. Getting there is 100% a treck! You will need a 4 Wheel Drive with high ground clearance since there are really big puddles on the way! 4WD ONLY for sur... Read more

There were huge puddles (practically swamps) on the road to get there and we got our AWD SUV stuck and it took at least an hour to get out. Definitely 4WD needed and recommend going in daylight. Never made it to actual campsite and just set up camp for the night at the beginning of the road.

Tattersalls Campground is a basic free camp spot with relatively easy car access (in dry weather) and a drop toilet. Unfortunately the muddy banks and surrounding oyster farms mean swimming is impossible but the stargazing and river views make up for it. If you’ve loaded
