We decided to stop in as we were running a bit behind getting further north. It's an aboriginal community but has a really great feel and everyone we met were so friendly and helpful. The campsite is a grassy area in the village (not on the beach but only a minute away) and has really good shower toilet facilities right there, water, and even a sneaky power outlet on the back of the amenities block. You do have to pay to drive out onto the beaches but are happy to pay the small fee for a community that seem like they are really having a good go. We enjoyed our night and would stop again. 👍

No need to bring a shovel this time (although do bring toilet paper - campgrounds aren't always stocked).
