The park is out of the way which we don’t mind. Spencer is a lovely little town but only 1 shop with limited supplies so you must bring everything with you. We booked ahead and ordered a powered site and said we have 2 dogs. We arrived 3.30ish and we couldn’t find anybody to check in with. Then the manager came over and said we can’t stay with the dogs. We said we told Donna about them so he backed off. We set up and we couldn’t find any water. We asked and were told there isn’t any. There was a couple of very old showers and toilets. When we checked out he charged us $50 and said it’s cash only. We feel this is far too expensive for what it is. We were lucky enough to have cash on us, I don’t know what you’d do without it bc it’s such a small town that wouldn’t have an atm.

Unable to camp due to rains the night before we arrived. Donna was really helpful and offered us a caravan to stay in for $20pp/night. Basic facilities but clean and tidy. Boat ramp access which we loved. 1 general store in Spencer which closes on Tuesdays FYI!! Open on weekends though.
