The place is pretty neat, and the facilities are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. Although I did spot a few bottle caps and bits of litter around, it's mostly tidy. The lake is stunning if you catch the sunset on a good day, it's an absolute treat, no matter where your van's parked. It does get a bit crowded in the evenings with other campers rolling in, but nothing too overwhelming. If you're planning a longer stay, getting a permit for up to 28 days is easy – just scan a QR code, and you're set. They've got clean flushable toilets and water taps conveniently spread across the site. Plus, good mobile reception. One heads-up, though: in the late afternoons, local fishermen often show up and camp out by the shore for night fishing. They can be a bit noisy and take up quite a bit of space along the shoreline. But considering it's a free camp and the length of time you're allowed to stay, it's a fantastic spot. Happy camping! Instagram: drvnbywellness
