We’ve absolutely loved Budj Bim. Fascinating geological and cultural history to the whole area and great walks that are easily accessible from the campsite itself. Lots of wildlife, generous and well spaced sites (sites 18 and 20 are only suitable for smaller set ups). 2 sets of toilets and hot showers! Need to book through vic parks, but was fairly quiet even at Easter. Cave access open, tracks are all clear and accessible now (2022)

Campsite is private with clusters of 2-3 sites in 1 area. Can park just next to site. Hot shower and toilet is available. Wallabies, kangoroo, koala around the camp site. Careful for leeches. Note: the lava blister longer walking track at budj bum is not well maintained. I got lost and lose few hours try to find the track. The cave access was also closed when i was there.
