Stayed this weekend at Nagambie Lake Leisure Park. It is very well equipped. On one side there is Lake Nagambie (where they hold rowing regattas) and the Goulburn River on the other side. The park has a really clean and well maintained swimming pool, a kids playground, jumping pillow, outdoor chessboard, arcade & games room, a cafe (with very expensive coffee), board games to hire. We booked an ensuite powered site which was new & clean - recommendation is to take a bath mat (for when you get out). We also used the main toilets and showers (as there were 4 adults) and they were new and clean up op. They were regularly attended to to ensure they were clean. In Nagambie there is a bakery, some small shops, an IGA, takeaway food & a pub (Royal Mail Hotel). If you go to the pub, ask for Goldie. He is a character! You have to make a trip to Tahbilk winery too. Family owned through 5 generations, the winery dates back to 1860. They have some of the oldest vines in Victoria, an amazing wine cellar you can walk through, tastings and a cafe with lovely staff. Nagambie is not easy to get around without a car. Only 1 taxi service and they are pretty expensive. It cost us $40 to get to Mitchelton Winery (Muse Restaurant) from the park. Take bikes or don’t drink and drive. We would look to go back again
