Awesome camping close to the sand dunes for a bit of 4x4 fun. Pretty windy while we were there but still great.

Was a very peaceful stay. Not much fish unless you have a boat and lots of regular yearly visitors who take the good spots. No dump Point and everyone buries their waste which is disgusting and not called for when all is needed is a proper dump point and rubbish disposal. A bit disappointing really when it’s on Ningaloo. We were there for 8 weeks and honestly left us feeling that the managers are just money hungry for the campers dollars and don’t actually care about the site. Even the old whaling station is a mess. It’s a shame and embarrassing.

Lefroy bay is a nice spot accesible only by 4x4 and cost a very small fee to stay...we stayed there for a week with no one to be seen...had the beach to ourselves as most people stay in either coral bay or exmouth...you have to be self suffient with your own toilet and shower...when we woke up in the morning we could see our boat moored up in the bay...the outer reef is not far out hear maybe 400m...we had a campfire everynight and lived off the fish we were catching...was a great spot
