Great small Caravan park that had everything we needed and best of all was extremely dog friendly. Short walk into the main shops and beach. Only thing that some might not like a few camping spots are... Read more

Quiet, clean and well maintained park. Friendly hists. Dogs made welcome with the added feature of a sandy off lead enclosure. Short walk to main street and pedestrian bridge across the lake to the surf beach.

Lovely little caravan park close to town. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The park is very pet friendly with a dog off leash area near the pool. The laundry also has a washing machine for dog towels/bedding only. They also have a coin operated dog wash. They also offer dog minding for a small price. The bathroom is clean and well maintained with good showers. The pool is cleaned daily and is a nice area to sit around on a hot day. There is a small kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils and equipment and also has an automatic coffee machine which only cost $3. There is a bbq and fire pit onsite. They offer entertainment on some evenings like open mic night. If your looking for a small caravan park which is dog friendly and close to town then I recommend Prime Pet Friendly Tourist Park

Thank you Linda, it was lovely meeting you and we enjoyed watching Indie's antics in the off leash area, why not sit in the water bowl on a hot day? Next time we will fill up the little plastic pool and he can really make a splash! Your description shows that all the little things that we try and offer to make a better experience for those travelling with their pet/s, are being noticed and appreciated. Thank you for helping to share the word and so we can keep our camp fees low cost. We look forward to welcoming you all back to Prime in the future.

Question:

Do you provide Firepits thanks ?

Answer:

Hello Sha, thank you for your question. We have a large fire pit area perfect for gatherings such as our music evenings, and happy hours. We light it according to weather conditions and the number of Guests on the Park. Due to insurance limitations we cannot provide individual fire pits for each site. by Sandi-Kate H.
