A fine place to sit by the creek for a day or two. Quiet although next to a dirt road (2 cars in 24hrs). Easy access, fire pits, toilet. Gold fossicking in the creek.
Really nice camp area. I have found gold in the river and the kids love going on night hunts for crayfish. Has a drop toilet and under cover picnic tables. Can get busy in peak times and the gate entry ways are tight if you have a large van. Main road past the campsite is unsealed so can be dusty when busy. Is regularly serviced by the local council. Pets are allowed. Only 5 minutes from Nundle.
