No power or running water so come prepared. Drop dunnies, campfires and stoves/hot plates. 4x horse yards with double chains for all size horses and ponies and a couple of tie-up rails. Spaces for tents, caravans etc. Heaps of trails for walking, bikes, motorbikes and horse riding. Great phone reception for Optus, Telstra is hit and miss.

Decent site for the one night we stayed, easy to get to. Still had phone service. Lots of space available even during the busy season. Nothing special though, would try something else next time

Clean toilets and several camping spots with fire pits and grills. No bins or water so pick your own. Was nice and quite even with other campers on Christmas Eve 👍🏽

Question:

Someone said it’s only 4wd. Can anyone confirm if a 2wd hilux could come here? Also would be keen to tow a small tradie trailer that has a RTT. Would that be possible?

Answer:

The road can be rough but people drive horse floats down it, also depends on which way you drive in, both ways I have used my 2wd easy and my horse float. by Kristine B.

Is this site open at the moment by any chance?

Answer:

Yes it is now open...the photo above should be removed. It's got a great set up with newish toliets. Not leafy green...bush scub... and probably not a spot for really hot weather...road a bit rough. by Katrina R.
