A nice place to wake up! In the middle of the national park you’d think you are isolated and far from civilisation but it’s not hard to get to and only a couple of hours steady drive from Adelaide. Long drop toilets that were clean and stocked with TP . Rain water for hand washing, not much else for amenities, there is a shelter you could escape the rain under if you need it! 25 pitches, only a handful suitable for a decent sized caravan, be sure to read the blurb on the website for vehicle suitability before you book. 25 is a huge pitch with a great view across to KI, but it ‘s not level, levelling ramps will be your saviour! Good fishing to be had down at blowhole beach, from the rocks or on the beach. You do need a proper 4wd to get down to the beach car park, it’s not too difficult but you do need some under vehicle clearance due to deep ruts in the track, it’s rocky not muddy. No vehicles on the beach. There’s some beautiful hikes to be had, the family (early teens and 50+) liked the waterfall hike best. Not too challenging but does have some steep walks with steps with handrails. The waterfall was a nice reward in full flow as we were there in April after some rain. Definitely an off grid camp, take drinking water, fire wood and marshmallows for the fire pit. Good for biking or hiking.
