Great little watering hole for a swim. Needs work from vic parks to improve facilities, looks like in its hay day it was amazing. Looks like old concrete swimming pools and other ruins knocking around that would have been something and could be saved into something again. NO CAMPING. The gate to camp ground is locked, due to bad weather apparently. May have been the case at one point however I walked the ground and it’s fine. Assume old mate that lives next to the gate has put his own locks on so he can enjoy his garden in peace. (Speculation) Camp ground on top of the hill, pretty small not next to water. Wouldn’t rate camping (if it was possible) here but swim is a win win
Lovely spot with lots of walking tracks nearby. Campsites are about halfway down the driveway off to the left on level area, so you don’t need to drive all the way into the gorge. The entry driveway i... Read more
This was not to bad a free camp ground. Very basic but great. Be very cautious with a larger van. I have a 21.5 foot pop top expanda, I would not have been comphy taking anything larger in there. My van was big enough. We were there in May and it was bloody cold in the morning. Ground is a bit up and down but hey, it's free so don't complain to much. It says no camp fires, lots of bush around so understandable so VERY disappointed to see others had been lighting fires. Rules are there for a reason so if the bush catches fire,, opps , I'm sorry, I didn't think that would happen. Respect the place and we will no doubt return for some more r and r.
Toilets are seperate from the campground but no other faults. 😊
