First time here and won’t be the last! Came for Easter long weekend late Thursday night which was for the best - a decent amount of spots but being unallocated, you’d want to get in early. If you prefer your own space, recommend a quieter spot on the first right turn off before the “main” area where the toilet/shower is (if you’re self contained it’s great but if not, an easy short walk). That turn off has three sites which can easily fit groups of people in each spot, both vans and trailers and is a dead end of sorts so no driving through for traffic. Beach is nice and close to walk but definitely need 4WD to drive down if wanting to go further. Easy to take dogs but if going on a long weekend, be mindful lots of cars can come and go to have a look.
