The campsite before the beach is a dry, dusty patch. If the wind is not too bad the beach is a way better option and accessible by everything. If the wind is up it’s terrible though. Relentless sandblasting. We stayed 1 dune back from the beach and it was fine, enjoyed the mornings on the beach before the wind got up.
