We stayed one night mid week at the 2nd sandbank. There were half a dozen other groups around at the first site. Sites are virtually flat but mostly dirt. The river is a fair drop below the campsites but there are some decent access points around. Unfortunately there was a fair bit of rubbish around. The toilets are horrible, only got as far as opening the door before gagging. Probably best just bring a shovel.
