Probably not quite a “Holiday Park” more an old world caravan park. A fair drive off the highway nevertheless with the river on one side and the ocean beach on the other gives for a few quiet days. A walk along the river there are a number of beaches suitable for young children. The main road runs immediately between the park and the river and so not the place to leave children unattended. The river is calm and suitable for canoes and kayaking and there are plenty of boat ramps. It seems that the fishermen were successful most days. $42 June 2022 which maybe a little pricey just for a stop on the road. Office is open 10am to 2pm so worth a call first.
Nice caravan park, very central to town, close to the beach and river.
