Fabulous set up albeit a bit rustic on the bathroom amenities but the best small bar ever and love the community. Basic motel rooms but does the job and great back packers with a fairly decent kitchen. For being remote you can’t complain as it has most everything you need and I’m always grateful that it exists

Really friendly and helpful staff. Facilities were great and previous reviews did not do this place justice. Great stopover and a really interesting place for a stopover.

Like going home for a holiday. Very specific parking instructions. but that is typical military mind set. You follow instructions too the letter, or God help you. Remember it is a civvy business been run on a ACTIVE RAAF support base ( there is just not much going on there at this time) that just happens to be open to civilian traffic and has some civilian community business within in its boundaries. With a bit of driving outside of the prohibited area and you will find some spectacular scenery. Got there just as hot weather was coming back. You must visit the FREE public pool. There were six other carvan/traveling groups at park and none went to the pool. We went before setting up tent, and again after cooking ourselves setting up tent. Again remember to follow instructions or you WILL get into trouble.

Rudest man I’ve ever seen in 22 yrs travelling, spoke to my wife like a pig for not following his parking commands, when i told him not to speak to her like that he told me to fuck off out of the park, Big frog in little puddle. If you think I'm not being truthful have a look at reviews on WikiCamps
