Eildon is a great spot to relax and take in the beautiful river view. It has spacious camping sites, a large camp kitchen with a deck, and plenty of activities for kids. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there's a boat ramp nearby. Unpowered sites overlook the river, and it's possible to drift down the water on a floaty. It can be chilly in winter, so bring extra warm sleeping bags/blankets. The park also allows pets, and the owners are very friendly and accommodating.
