Gorgeous campground with powered sites for only $20. Right by the river, with free use of local pool. Very quiet and plenty of space for kids to explore. Beautiful town nearby. Toilets, drinking water, BBQ areas, allotted sites, caravans, camper trailers, showers, phone reception, garbage, laundry, and swimming available.

A real gem in North Coast NSW, this laid-back rustic camp ground on the banks of the Upper Karuah river offers plenty of well-spaced camping spots under shady trees. Perfect for a short no-frills getaway, it has bass fishing in a private 2km stretch of the river, clean toilets and hot showers, and some tank water. Usually no more than half a dozen other campers, and the lovely elderly couple who own the camp ground are delightful. Plus, you'll need a 4WD/SUV to access this hidden beauty.
