Platypus Park is a great camping spot in Launceston and the North of Tasmania. It has plenty of amenities, such as toilets, drinking water, BBQ areas, and powered sites. You can also bring your own caravan or camper trailer. A boat ramp is nearby, as well as phone reception. Cabins are available, as well as a laundry. You can also enjoy fishing or take a stroll along the walking trails. Fires are also allowed. Reviews are excellent, with many praising the friendly staff and the beautiful surroundings.
