#2 Diggings

Filled star Filled star Filled star Filled star Empty star 3 Ratings

This remote campground in Crediton State Forest offers a perfect spot for secluded camping. Drop toilets are clean and stone fire pits mark out each camp site. Swimming holes in the creek are crystal clear and the cool mountain air is refreshing. A 25 minute drive to Eungella provides supplies or meals. Fuel up back down the range at Finch Hatton. Day trips to Finch Hatton Gorge are remarkable. Take the ‘Diggings Road’ turn off 5 minutes out of Eungella, not the Google Map way. A memorable camping experience!
