The site has an amazing view of the valley and river below. It is perfect for camping, with a tarp recommended due to the rocky ground and excellent fire facilities. Pets are allowed and there are free toilets, national parks, phone reception, and walking trails. Fires are also allowed. This is a great spot to spend a night, as we had it to ourselves.

Visitors aged 17 and up are welcome to stay for a night or two. On public holidays, the site gets packed so it's best to bring your own drinking water. You can also enjoy the amazing waterfalls and a freshwater lake nearby - perfect for swimming with your swimming shoes on. For just $12, you can have a picnic bench and the calming sounds of a nearby creek at night.

It's great for both avid campers and beginners, with hot showers, a cooking/kitchen building, plenty of space for tents, filtered water, and ample parking. There are also plenty of stunning views and bushwalks to explore. The slot canyon walk is a great challenge. It's a great spot for a 24 getaway, plus it's cheap for what you get ($24 minimum charge for 2 people). Highly recommend!
