1 RatingReids is a great spot located in Upper Yarra, within two hours of Melbourne. It is free to visit and allows pets, making it a great destination for families. There is plenty of space to set up caravans and camper trailers, as well as 4WD trails through the state forest. There are also non-drinking water sources available. The facilities are basic, but there is a drop toilet as well as three deep concrete fire pits. Despite the rainy weather, it wasn’t too busy when we visited.
