A secluded, stunning beach just a 30sec walk away. Great for wildlife spotting, shaded by rainforest canopy & relaxing atmosphere. Take plenty of drinking water - nearest shops 10mins up road. No showers & stanky toilet block, but rangers patrol regularly. Perfect place to get off the grid & camp in the rainforest. No phone reception after ferry crossing, but some 3G at beach & 4G at Mount Alexandra lookout. Highly recommend!

A magical paradise tucked away past Rossville, Home Rule Rainforest Lodge offers 50 acres of camping area with all facilities onsite. Enjoy croc-free swimming in the river, a lovely walk to Homerule Falls, and base yourself here for a hike to Cedar Bay. With friendly and helpful manager Umberto, it's a place of peace and tranquility with great natural beauty. Resident platypuses can be seen in the river, and there was even a massive downpour during our stay. Highly recommend!
