Plots 6,7 & 8 are for tents only and there is no vehicle access. A permit is needed and can be bought from the hut. A 5km drive up a mountain is required to reach the campground and there are Fireflies and Platypus to be seen if you take a short walk. It is important to note that there is no drinking water, no swimming and no showers at the site.

Compost toilets and cafe at the information centre with great coffee and scones. Be warned, it can get chilly here!

7 RatingsA great spot for an overnight stay, free and quiet with clean amenities. Toilets were clean and maintenance guy offered affordable showers. Pub across the road, unfortunately closed during our stay. Flat, grassed area, not far from highway, good spot for a drink and feed. Recommended!
