Petrie Park is a tranquil spot located in Fraser Coast. It offers free access and has amenities such as toilets, BBQ areas, and phone reception. There is also a boat ramp nearby, making it a great spot for fishing. The park is only open to self-contained vehicles, and visitors can stay a maximum of 48 hours. Clean toilets and plenty of bins, seating, and BBQs are available, and the beautiful scenery makes it a great place to stop over. Rangers come by in the morning to ensure all visitors are self-contained. Caravans and campervans are welcome, but it can fill up quickly, so it is best to arrive before 4pm.

A great spot to stay for the night, with a variety of amenities including free toilets, BBQ areas, caravans, phone reception, and a kids play park. Very busy, with around 20 spots, but plenty of nearby shops, gas station, and a pub/bottle-o. Toilets and showers are close by and clean. Concrete sites, no grass, but a free 2 min hot shower in the toilets. Bins available, and a grassy area for dogs. Quiet, yet can get crowded in the morning. Highly recommended!
