2 RatingsThis campground offers a peaceful experience in the heart of New England North West. The sites are free and pets are welcome. Facilities include toilets, BBQ areas and plenty of space for caravans, camper trailers and cars. Nearby attractions include a boat ramp, state forest and trails for biking, hiking and fishing. Fires are permitted and the campground is well kept and maintained. We had a wonderful Easter long weekend here, with only a few other campsites in sight. Loads of amazing wildlife to admire.

3 RatingsLocated in Hunter, this reserve is perfect for a day out with the family. Pets are allowed and entry is free. Toilets, BBQ areas and garbage bins are also available. Allotted sites are available for caravans, camper trailers and cars. Fires are allowed in designated areas and there is also swimming nearby. The river is currently high and rapid-like due to recent rainfalls, but most sites are not close to the toilets.

6 RatingsPets allowed and free to stay, toilets and camper trailers onsite. State forest nearby with 4WD trails and water (non drinking). Allows fires and nice flat area close to the river. Clean facilities and lots of different places to choose from. 20 minute drive to servo station for canoe hire. Can get boggy in the rain so 4WD recommended. Drop toilets, fire pits, no mobile coverage and unsealed roads in and out. Google map doesn't take you there, follow signs and main track. Another site 100 mtr away if full.

6 RatingsFantastic spot for a night or two! Easy to access, plenty of room to spread out, picnic tables and shelters, main and smaller dam, clean long-drop toilets (smelly though). BYO water. Campfire stove pits and bins. Nearby town of Nundle is great. Highly recommend!

The surrounding state forest is perfect for exploring, making it a great spot for a day trip.

This hall is a great choice for those travelling with their pets, as it allows them to stay for free.
