Beautiful beach camping with free sites tucked away behind the dunes. No water so bring your own. Long drop toilets at C6 were clean. Hot showers available at nearby camp for $2, plus shops for any forgotten supplies. Ocean can be quite rough, so fishing recommended rather than swimming. Camp 4 suitable for a big caravan, flat surface and room to back up, but no toilet. Quiet spot when we visited.

The drop toilet at the campground is not well maintained and not very clean, so it is better to use the public toilets at the nearby Golden Beach general store. The Trinculo shipwreck is less than 100m away and can be explored. It is a great place for free camping and highly recommended.

A great spot for a getaway, this Gippsland location offers a beautiful beach, plenty of amenities and a friendly atmosphere. Enjoy walking trails, fishing, biking and swimming, or take a two-hour trip from Melbourne for a memorable experience. Fireworks on New Year's Eve, a community garden and camp kitchen in the works - what's not to love? Highly recommended!

C9 Campground is a great hideaway located along 90 Mile Beach in Gippsland. It offers free camping, toilets, caravan and camper trailer sites, phone reception and fishing and swimming opportunities. Fires are allowed and the dunes provide sheltered campsites. New toilet blocks and showers can be found in town. Although there was a nearby tree farm burning, visitors still felt secure. Heavy vehicles should be parked carefully due to sandy conditions.
