Beautiful views at sunset and sunrise, lots of kangaroos, and a friendly caretaker with lots of stories and travel tips. Make sure to stay in the designated camping area. Windy but with amazing scenery. Great spot for fishing and crabbing, and a wealth of history and knowledge to learn. Lovely quiet spot to relax and take in the beauty of the Flinders Ranges. Be careful of quicksand when wandering.

Stayed one night at powered ensuite site with enough room not to un hitch caravan. Site was good size with concrete and hardened gravel base. Amenities were very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Had a great sleep and recommend to others.
