A great spot to escape the city, Lake Macquarie has plenty of room and clean facilities. Pets are welcome, and there are toilets, drinking water, BBQ areas, powered sites, caravans and camper trailers, plus a boat ramp nearby. Phone reception and cabins are available, as well as a dump spot, laundry, fishing, swimming, and a kids' play park. The friendly staff even lend out fire braziers for a small camp fire.
