Beautiful spot however I don't get why there's no public access into the Chinese Gardens, other than for camping purposes. It's crown land and should be able to be accessed for explorers and photographers. It used to be open all the time. It's become too regulated in town.

Was a great little camp ground, It had a slight slope ( only felt when lying in bed). Just needed to position the tent a bit better. Loved the fact that you had your own ensuite with shower and toilet ( key codes required to get in so only you can use the ensuite allocated to you.) One side of the campground you can take your cars for tent/ car side by side camping, the other side has no option to take cars but it’s beside the river which is nice. Both are in powered. Tbere is a sink on the side of the toilet block with hot/cold tank water to wash dishes ect. I believe There is a laundry avaliable aswell. The camping ground is in two sections. Both sections are un-powered. One section (car access) you have to book The other is first in best breaded and has a limited amount of people allowed . sites are approximately 10 m x 7 m The shower requires $1 coins for each 2 minutes use. The small Laundry has a washer and dryer. These require 4 x $1 coins to operate. Free electric BBQs are available in the shelter by the driveway, about 30 metres from the Camping Fees: Adults: $20 per night Children: $10 per night (5 to 16 years old) Under 5 yo are free Dogs are allowed on leash. Bring firewood or you will have to go and find some. The campground is in a beautiful gully surrounded by big beautiful trees. Very quiet and beautiful area

Shit house. No phone reception but when you arrive you’re told to call a number to make a booking. You need to make a booking so you’re given a code for one of the toilet/shower cubicles. We asked other campers could we borrow their code - we were refused. So we took turns pissing in their full view.
